Braunton IFA LTD was established in 1999 and has an extensive client bank across the UK, the company was formed to offer a first class level of personal service to clients seeking independent financial advice. We found so many people had been sold products but had never been provided with an ongoing service which left them unclear as to whether the advice they had received was as valid in the future as it was the day they received it.





The directors offer a hands on approach to providing advice, with over 24 years of experience each they have seen the many changes that have come about in the industry and the political and financial sectors and have an up to date knowledge of the vast range of products on the market. Things change rapidly in the financial sector and it is only by having an up to date knowledge that we can keep providing investors with the right advice.

The advisers hold the level 4 diploma in financial planning and the Statement

of professional standing as required by the FSA, our regulator.

We are members of the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Personal Finance

Society and the Institute of financial Services.



We maintain a high level of continual professional development so as to be aware

of market and government legislative changes.

New regulations came into force at the end of December 2012 which saw the end of commissions on products; all schemes now have to have explicit charges so that you see exactly what advice costs. Most of our charges are made by way of a fee basis, just like how you would do business with your solicitor or accountant or even dentist, they bill you for the level of service you require, we now operate in the same way.



The level of service is up to you and can be for just a limited review of say an existing plan all the way up to a full financial review, advice and portfolio management. There are flat rates or hourly options and we would not go over your set limit without prior written consent.   



Our office is conveniently placed on the Quay in Bideford but we are also happy to visit you at home or at work.
